How can you plot a spread like the LEH-NEU merger in esignal 7.4?

In qcharts it's (leh * .496) + 9.49 - neu, just type it into the symbol line.

I can't find anything in the help file. I know something can be done in esignal's scripting language, but I was hoping it would be easier than learning how to program.

eSignal seems to have issues with spaces in the pair/spread line.

I don't have the program here so can't check myself.

Try 'leh-neu' and see if that works. Then build fm there.

What you can't find in our Help file, you'll likely find by searching our 500+ FAQ Library. Here's the one on inputting spreads. No programming required!

We have plans to migrate our Help files to a web format so they can be kept updated on a daily basis with Q&A just like this!

I was wondering about the real time PREM and EPREM. I upgraded to 7.4. They seem to be updating at about the same rate a before. Do I need to upgrade a subscription? In what way is the real time prem different?

Hi,

There are new symbols for these. They are treated like a future and you must have access to the CME emini or the CME exchange.

The symbols are PREM A0 and EPREM A0.

It also includes the high, low, change, %change, and previous.

What is the deal with eSignals terrible (delayed) Eurex data? One of your earlier posts said it would be fixed by the end of June. We've been hearing this for over 6 months- what's going on? It is a waste of time to be rolling out all the new Asian futures exchanges when one of the most important ones hasn't even been fixed yet!

When will this be finally addressed?

We completed our conversion for Eurex prior to market open on Thursday 7/3/03. In regards to the timeliness of our Eurex data, feedback thus far has been excellent. If you are seeing delays on our Eurex feed, we need to do some troubleshooting. Please PM me your eSignal CID or username and I'll have someone contact you to look into this further.
