Comission and Bullet Rates

Quote from sambatrade:

what firm's interests are you representing (now it's more clear)
2/10 is done plenty of places. the problem with your situation if you dont mind me posting this (i read some of your other posts now so i'm more familiar with your situation) is that you're going through a broker who is then going through the clearing firm. you're like the third middleman after the brokerage firm and clearing house. That's why 2/10 seems low to you. For Hold 2/10 is not low at all! and to repeat myself for the umpteenth time, yes, my rate is .0035, all inclusive, I do ok volume, around 80-200 and no I'm not "in with the boss", people in this business will want to make money off you no matter if your his godson, there's no free lunch so that's not a myth. ETrade Professional's rate IS .0045 ALL INCLUSIVE, ON SITE, not a base rate, and it's for PROP AND RETAIL. If you want I'll give you the number of the guy who runs the group there and you can confirm it for yourself, Sorry about Pointdirex, I didn't check it out like you did. And, now you probably think I trade at Etrade pro, well, sorry bud, I don't. Why does it bug you so much where I trade? There's 3 or firms that self-clear, and I have friends at all these places getting rates around these levels.

Read your own post, it says .0035, all inclusive.

I'm getting tired of this. first i didnt say .0035, i said .0045, second there's no 50,000 capital contribution, if you open retail, it's 30k min, otherwise, you put up 5-10k for prop. you can pm me if you want the phone # of the guy running the operation, or let me know if i'm allowed to post it on this thread and i'll do that.

Post it so all of us can call and switch firms. I'm asking, so you won't get in trouble.

I'm talking about your rate. I don't want .0045, I want .0035 all inclusive.

I went to www.etradeprofessional.com. It says $50,000 initial capital contribution, and says nothing about the rates. Unless you have a different site for them.

dude, why don't you just call him and ask for yourself. my rate is my rate, I'm not at etrade and I'm happy with my situation and setup. I think if a trader's doing ~100ish a day they probably could call up etrade or some of the other firms and basically get the deal I have. heck, your deal probably isn't much different from mine. but no, what I stated earlier in regards to etrade pro was for a normal trader, on site, prop or retail, the all in the cost is .0045. shit, i wish i was at etrade and would get some benefit from all this. I talked with them briefly and there was no cap contribution, just regular retail or prop.

you asked for etrade pro, that's the contact and # there

I want the firm you work for, why go for .0045, when you can get .0035.

:p man you are persistent. why does it matter? tell me how you trade, what kind of style and why you parted ways with lynx? pm me if you want.
