Comission and Bullet Rates

Quote from jorges:

I opened an account with pointdirex after seeing their ad here on ET and honestly have been pleased with what they offer. Bullets are .0075 as they advertise. Are there better offers out there for bullets? Is anyone else using pointdirex?

What are you paying for NYSE commission all in?

Quote from Hitnruntrader:

I am very curious to what the average person pays in comish and bullet charges. I saw the add for PointDirex and it says that comission rates are half a cent and the bullet rates are 1.5 cents.

On an average day i do about 50,000 share volume and usually 10,000 bullets.

Can you tell me what price i should be paying for comissions and bullets? I pay more than half a penny per share for comissions and i pay more than 1.5 cent per share for bullets.

Am i being ripped off?

i trade approx 15-20k shares a day and my commission/payout is 60%, .01, and .15 for bullets...

What is the best commissions i could get with me providing my own capital. I am a nasdaq trader that averages about 120K shares a day. Is it possible to get $5 tickets with 100% payout? Thanks in advance.

I think if you're a fairly active trader ~25-75k /day you should be in the ballpark of .0045 per share and bullets .01 -.015. If you're doing around 100-200k/day rates are about .0025 and bullets less than .01. These are if you deal direct with a firm, self -clearing better. Obvioulsy if you trade under an LLC or trading group they'll rip you off and charge you upwards of .0065 and most of the times people are paying .01 and think they're getting an OK deal! The only way these LLCs and trading companies (MIDDLEMEN!) are staying in business (and Making a killing) are by keeping all the newbies in the dark, if traders got together they could negotiate directly for better rates. Hope that was helpful.

Sambatrade! I was hoping you could suggest a few firms that charge commissions of what you have posted in your previous posts of .0045 or so and bullet rates of .01-.015. I take it these are prop firms? Do you trade with one? Please let me know.

Thank you
