Comission and Bullet Rates

I used to use a mouse. Until I opened my eyes to the keyboard. I've been looking into hammer and it seems like it will adjust size for close out.

Actually, the guys who trade NY stocks rave about the Hammer. Also, I've used both keyboard and mouse based systems and IMO you can send many more orders much faster using a keyboard rather than a point and click system.

Then i guess it boils down to personal preference...but most of the time sterling has automatically adjusted size and price leaving one step for me. i just have one click and boom it's done. there are also some new features (jan 2003) regarding nyse+ that have made my executions that much faster. but if i traded nasdaq i am sure i would think hammer is adequate.

open book is over a year old. your just getting it now?

Don't have it yet to be exact. I assume that's true for other Sterling users. Apparently its a Hyperfeed issue, but I'm about to bail on the platform if it isn't offered soon. Hard to feel like a "professional" when you don't have basic tools available to "amateurs." The constant quote issues aren't helping.

Frankly I'm shocked Echo hasn't offered an alternative platform by now to contend with this OpenBook issue.
