Quote from RedDuke:
Let's take a look at few main ones:
1) Iraq war is over
2) Health reform is passed
3) Wall street reform is passed
4) Bin Laden is dead
Health reform might not be popular with many now, and the numbers of things are missing there, but something had to be done. And it was done against fierce GOP opposition, whose main goal was to kill whatever Obama was proposing. Time will tell if people like it, and 20-30 years from now, it might be as universally accepted as social security and medicare.
Wall street reform does not have all the claws that Volcker suggested, but it is still a step in the right direction. Once again not much GOP support. Also, check out, if you have not done yet, what lobbying trying to do to it, kinda disturbing.
Let's compare the final records in 4 years.
So we're back to arguing opinions, are we? You are just that clueless? Look, you are obviously intellectually challenged, so we'll give this one more go and I'll try to explain to you once more.
You asked me "how I can say Obama is worse than Bush." I gave you my
opinion why this is so. Then you tell me my
opinion is wrong, and give me yours (which I never asked for - I already know you're an Obamaphile).
The points you have brought up have been argued
ad nauseum on this board, with one group finding flaw in the argument (me included) and one group cheerleading it (you, for instance). Dodd Frank has been argued on at least a dozen threads, so go back and get to your reading assignment. I'm not going to waste more time discussing that stuff
yet again simply because some left wing Johnny-Come-Lately decides to show up and start the debates all over again.
But as far as opinions go on which President an individual thinks is worse, that can't be argued. So please give it up already.
Honestly, I don't care about your opinion. I don't want it, don't want to discuss it. I'm not interested in it. You offer nothing new and nothing we haven't discussed before. You just regurgitate the same points over and over, and frankly I'm just waiting in hopes you'll do what you promised before, and fucking go away.
