Coming to terms with my feelings. Long, sorry.

Quote from mrbill:

I think you may not be giving the young, hispanic, females enough credit. Those that I know work really hard, are God fearing Christians, and love their jobs and America. As with any demographic, there will be a percentage of those called slackers, but less in Asians and the Hispanics that I've observed at various work places.

The meme from the right, and the Ayn Rand buzzwords tend to get over used, over-simplified, and simply do not apply in all cases. Just my opinion, as always.

Always good to hear your thoughts, Captain.

What I see is these good people having their work ethics being eroded bit by bit. That is my concern. Some of it is legitimate lack of opportunity, much of it by a government that does more harm than good when it comes to "fixing" things.

Quote from RCG Trader:

And yet, you feel, resentment.

That is an ego response, all day, every day.

I already told you in the OP that I no longer care.

liberals destroyed the work ethic of black people, the poster child is Obama who was elevated even though his accomplishments are inferior.

think of the lesson in that

One of those accomplishments is being elected POTUS....twice.

If his accomplishments are "inferior", what then are your accomplishments?

Edit: and I don't even have to like the man to ask that.

His accomplishments are inferior for a man who would be president. Of course, he ain't the first. We're definately seeing the Peter Principle at work in our election process.

Quote from RCG Trader:

Then you have lost.

Lost what? Stop trying to be some sort of political forum Yoda. I'm not trying to win anything anymore, so if you want to prance about yelling how you've won, do it somewhere else. My focus now is inward, making my family stronger and protecting my family. To hell with the rest of the world. They're not getting a fucking red, devalued cent from me anymore.

If anything, "losing" as you call it has been a good thing, as now I can focus my resources and attention where it needs to be focused.

Obama is a low life piece of shit, but I will give credit where credit is due.
He did get himself elected twice.
Nobody can honestly take that away from him.

Yeah, George Bush was elected twice too. What's that say for the nation OR your argument?
