Yes. Consider this: What did Trump say about our relations with Russia from the early days of his campaign on. How many people did Trump have , or had, in is campaign or administration, who are Russian agents. How close is the guy that Manafort worked for to Putin? Why would Trump be meeting "in private" (he thought), in the White House, with those two unsavory Russians with only a Russian photographer allowed in at a time when this Russian Hacking investigation was going full tilt. Why would Trump share very sensitive Israeli intelligence with the Russians. How reliable is British intelligence Re Trumps sexual exploits in Russia. When and how many times did Trump travel to Russia, and what for. Was it just to have a good time. Why did Kushner attempt to get a channel of communication via the Russian Embassy set up. Why did Trump try to stop the investigation into Flynn's activities. Why is a Cypriot Banker involved. What Banks does ill got Russian money pass through. Why are the Russians making this stuff so easy for us to see? Why the quick release of the photos when Trump was led to believe the meeting was private?

Russians want to create chaos in the U.S. and they are perfectly willing to spend a billion to do it, if that's what it takes. Trump's greed and desperate financial situation was their golden opportunity. Whose idea was it that Trump should run for President? This is all Karma and schadenfreude rolled into one as far as the Russians are concerned, and boy are they enjoying it!

These are all claims you can find made on a new and growing sector of the internet that functions as a fake news bubble for liberals, something I’ve dubbed the Russiasphere. The mirror image of Breitbart and InfoWars on the right, it focuses nearly exclusively on real and imagined connections between Trump and Russia. The tone is breathless: full of unnamed intelligence sources, certainty that Trump will soon be imprisoned, and fever dream factual assertions that no reputable media outlet has managed to confirm.
The Russiasphere doesn’t have one unifying, worked-out theory — like “9/11 was an inside job” or “Nazi gas chambers are a hoax.” Instead, it’s more like an attitude — a general sense that Russian influence in the United States is pervasive and undercovered by the mainstream media. Everything that happens in US politics is understood through this lens — especially actions taken by the Trump administration, which is seen as Kremlin-occupied territory.
Mensch is a conservative, I don't recall anybody even posting that on this sub or ever reading anything from her other than seeing her on Maher's show once.

All conspiracies historically have been clandestine. So I'd be hard pressed to call what's going on with Trump and the Russians a "Conspiracy". I don't think it is a conspiracy at all. In my mind it is just an extremely entertaining future Stephen Sondheim Musical. It's all being carried out right before your eyes in the open. It's only the American players that think they are in a conspiracy. The Russians know it is a Musical.
