Comcast ,,|,,(-_-),,|,,

Ok, I'll add my Comcast story.

For the last several weeks, it would get to around 12:15 EST, and bingo, down goes my connection.

They came out, and it just so happened they sent a tech whom we know socially. He actually gave us a new modem, telling us about the reburbished bullshit, too. Since we knew him, he did some other hocus-pocus with the connection, and basically said call HIM if it happens again.

Well, it happens now, but on an unpredictable basis. At least the old way I could plan for it around 12:15.

Trust me, it's because the DOCSIS 2.0 equipment is not able to get in "synch" with the DOCSIS 3.0 stuff that runs the VoIP feature for phone service.

Some of the techs don't even know about the issue.

I am honestly on my way to the nearest Comcast center. These dumb mother fucking degenerate morons have pushed my last button - I have had a problem with my connection ever since I switched to their " high speed " bullshit ( prior problems were not as bad but still very annoying ). There has not been one flawless fucking week with this bullshit!!! Get this, I call them, wait 10 min, and then get hung up on - EVERY FUCKING TIME! NEVER FAILS! I believe the reason for this is because I have a very sharp tone ( not yelling but firm ) and those pathetic minimum wage waste of lives decide that they are to good to address my problems so they keep pawning me off like some worthless scrub - There is nothing anyone can say to change my mind. It is 100% my connection and not " me " or " my computer " so I do not want to hear any over achievers hyping this piece of shit defunct company!

I just felt the need to let you know if you are located near CHICAGO IL to never do business with these straight low life corrupt scum should have been left on the sheets to dry losers.

I am now on my way to the nearest Comcast center to snap this fucking dykes head right off her beefed up Amazonian looking neck and cancel my connection - Anyone near Chicago, IL that would recommend a High Speed Internet connection provider?

IF YOU ARE LOCATED NEAR CHICAGO,IL I WOULD LIKE TO ONCE AGAIN REMIND YOU TO NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE UNGRATEFUL CHROMOSOMAL DEFICIENT TEST TUBE BABIES!!

P.S. The customer service reps are not hanging-up on you . . . I have had tons of "dropped" phone calls with them as well.
It's just the way their phone network runs, and even more unfortunate is the fact that they are not allowed to call you back, once they have lost your phone call. It can be extremely frustrating.
They are using Comcast Digital voice service in their call center, of course! LOL!

One time a Comcast sales rep called me to promote their Digital voice service. I told him flat out: No way in hell! When your cable service is out, not only would it take out my Internet connection, it now would take out my phone line as well???

I live in Sacramento, CA. I suffer from the Comcast crap just the same. Their cable service is cut about 3 to 4 times a year. And I did experience those predictable mid-night Internet connection outages for a while (but not recently).

It's nice to hear that I am not suffering alone. LOL. :p :p :p

I'm also on the West Coast and just today had a Comcast tech come over and install the VoIP phone service, so I'll let you know how it goes.

By the way, they installed a brand new Arris TM502G modem that comes with a battery-pack as a back-up for the modem power which is pretty cool.

I'm also told that the Arris modem is able to support faster broadband Internet speeds given that VoIP requires more bandwidth.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
:)

Comcast is currently the worst company I am forced to deal with on a monthly basis, out of necessity.

They keep paying off my local officials and keep landing monopoly rights to provide hard line broadband services to the homes in my city, and it's absolutely sickening.

I long for the day when true competition forces Comcast into bankruptcy, because that's the fate this arrogant corporation truly deserves.
