Colossal returns

Colossal returns may mean different things to different people. Let us maybe refine the definition to 5 arbitrary R:R categories: 5:1 , 10:1, 25:1, 50:1 and 100:1. Such returns take place in the options market, such as in near term option chains of underlyings after gap or a big/fast one direction moves.

Are there sites and people out there who specialize in such types of trades (particularly the ones with above 25:1 R/Rs).

It seems to me that spreads can lead to such high returns but only after legging in. Do you know of sites who specialize in such strategies?

Buying GOOG 950 weekly (10/25/2013) call ahead of earnings on Thursday would have generated 3000% return (versus 100% risked). It's however not a 30:1 scenario. The probabilities are not equal. Good luck finding 50:1 and 100:1 scenarios with equal probability.

So how many times have you made 20x or 50x on an options trade compared to the # of times you lost 100% of your options premium paid?

You must know how to pick them, do the hard work, no one is going to do it for you.

Where did I write about asking you to do the hard work for me? I wasn't even asking for your advice.
I'm merely saying its a lot harder to make 20, 50, or 100x than it seems, whereas you seem to imply that you can to it with some regularity. You must be an options trading millionaire!
As Neke has shown, it's not easy, even with tremendous effort of many years.

How many of those have atm straddles pricing in a 3% move?

Do the work to answer the question. No one will do it for you.

In my brief trading history (5 1/2 years), the trades I put on believing they'd produce a home run produced very little, and often a colossal loss.

I learned eventually to develop a plan which produces a lot of base hits. Every now and then the market clearly has more to offer and the return is "colossal" (maybe 5 or 10:1 instead of the expected 1:1 or 2:1).
