ColoradoCare

All other countries, besides the United States, have found better solutions to the question of how best to provide medical care.

Bullshit.

Next time you get sick, book a flight to Bangladesh
Pfft. Cheap shot because he didn't qualify 'all'.

Oh i see I left out the word 'developed', I guess I gave you too much credit for assuming that we wouldn't normally bother to compare ourselves to Malawi. I should have spelled it out for you and "little Tommy" -- I'm borrowing from Trump here. Oh, and haven't you missed something? Didn't you forget to point out that in my post immediately above 'choose' should be 'chose'?

For a rich person or for a poor person?
see, that's the thing. Compared to most countries, most U.S. citizens are rich. That's why they call us Rich Americans. We have so much money we don't need to go to the government for help when we get sick.

Sarcasm?

The big joke is that our medical system is not in the least about making people healthy. It's killing lots of people, arguably it does more harm than good. Medicine in past centuries always did more harm than good but we believe that we are more scientific nowadays. The truth is that the personalities that are drawn to medicine greatly overvalue their skills regardless of the century. I've lived in a retirement home and watched people being destroyed by doctors. I'd have to say that, on balance, the doctors are here to kill us off. It takes a lot of effort to learn herbs and supplements and diet and spiritual things so most people would rather submit to the conventional wisdom and just let the doctors kill them, especially if they don't have to pay for it.
