Well obviously you did not do something correctly.

And the TA Lib:

I suggest you reinstall the Plug-ins.

Im really not sure what you are talking about. When I upgraded to the latest version, after it installed, it then asked me to up-date my custom indicators plug in and news plug in. Maybe you just skipped over it.

I whipped up this indicator for you.

unzip and place here:


"my documents">My Custom Indicators>rapid


then restart oec and you should find it in the "volumes" folder, the name of the indicator is colorv, you want to make sure "create new area" is checked before you apply.

awesome, glad it worked! never exported an indicator before. i'm new to oec, i have done a bunch of indicator coding in stockfetcher and thinkorswim, oec is very hard to figure out (i think it has a lot of limitations atm)

Yeah OEC is quirky with its indicator development environment, unfortunately. The custom indicator stuff there seems a bit kludgy IMHO.
