I guess you could make that argument. Was positioned long initially fully expecting those 20 pips to be in my pocket. Talked myself into the short after waiting forever for the trade to profit.

Today = +32 pips

Actually, has nothing to do with any argument.

Your actions and the results you have, are what you really intended them to be. Had you really intended for the 20 tick outcome you would have done what it takes to get it.

Changing your action midstream indicates some self doubt - either about yourself or your abilities or did you read the market right or ....
