Fact is some kids have no business being in college. The govtm should eliminate college loans for the stupid. College has become another avenue to pile on debt on the unwashed indentured masses.

i learned more about business selling drugs at 15 then i ever did in college. fucking sterile institutional lies they sell you.. go ahead jump into debt and be a cog in the wheel... sure if your going to be some kind of professional it might be worth it... just talk to this girll shes 250 in debt.. got her law degree she can't shoot someone for a job... there are grooves of girls going to nursing school right now... Remington college is blowing up with girls going into the nursing program.. you think there gonna have their pick of jobs when they come out? everyone is thinking the same thing at the same time.. i can't get a job so i'll go back to school... you'd be better of borrowing money and going long term short bonds will all your money.. oh and just wait for the school bubble to end and short that.. you'll make more money then you ever would going to the fucking school

I think a big part of the problem is people expect to be given a job. They would be better off starting their own business. Why is it someone else's responsibility to give them a job. At the end of the day they have to take responsibility for themselves.

Financial insecurities have nothing to do with finance.. they are a manifestation of a bad self esteem.. i agree with you totally... the public has been spoon fed credit, a high standard of living, and the expectation of instant gratification.. any entrepreneur knows that most opportunity is missed because it is dressed up in overalls and looks like work! plus most people are lazy.. they see a complexity hurdle and they cower. people don't really wanna know the mechanics of how things work or be instrumental in adding value to them... they just wanna get back to being given shit! this whole "lets finish what we started" Obama ideology is going to work.. people are stupid!

College was worth it when I was younger. I don't think it's worth it anymore.
They say the networking at the top notch schools is worth something, but I guess I never made any really useful friends. I found that networking in the real world was much more valuable.
