To be fair you need to put any quote from Lenin in the context of his times where socialism and communism were basically the same thing -- except that communism was more stringent and believed in the use of violence to achieve its objectives.
Today's definition of socialism is very different than the definition in 1900.

its not even the same league. in the 60s the liberals were against the man and the war. the were for freedom and they did not want any one telling them how to think. todays progressives enforce group think through pc and they support any war obama and the dems told them to support.
Fraudcurrents is the perfect example of todays drone. he does not even realize that progressives goals are to progress to socialism and then communism. he wants to be progressive because he likes the word and thinks it means he is pro science. what a joke. He really has no idea of the agenda he is actually working for. He would not even comprehend that George Orwells in 1984 warns us against being people like him. Ricter might understand what is happening but fc and most of the lefties don't even know what they are progessing towards.
If a case like Miranda came up today and the govt seized a gun... who would Bloomberg, Obama, every lefty here and the democrats side with? The govt.. they cheer for the man today not the people.
Yesterdays liberals were nothing like to today's pre fascists.
there is almost no comparison with what todays kids and ets leftists are thinking and what a classical liberal is.
in simple terms when I was a kid liberals wanted more freedom.
