LOL, you are as far W. away from Elmhurst as I am from Elmhurst E. I live off a couple of blocks from where 90/94 split off (Irving Park road. I trade from home.) That is about 4 miles from the lake, and about five miles from downtown.

Freeport is pretty quiet, only about 40,000 people. They have some nice hotels. If you are going on vacation Nassau is a lot better.

Last year we were getting $10K quotes per T1, a big improvement; our Tier 1 T1 here is about $1.2K, a PTP to downtown Chicago is $900, and a frame to the east coast is $1.3K.

Yikes! $10K! That's fractional T3 prices. The others sounds about right. Who is your provider?

Bermuda has strange residency, and to far from the US to interest my wife. Freeport is only about 80 miles from Miami; sort of like a suburb.

Maybe my wife and I should do a Key's/Freeport/Nassau trip to figure this out. She _LOVED_ Aruba, but I could not live there.

The T1 is UUNET, I have ask someone else who the other providers are; if you were asking about the Bahamas it is BATELCO.
