We can say the same for the historical Democrats. We can blame the media, we can blame the progressives, and we can blame the gullibility and dumbing down of the electorate.

Who would have thought the historical Democrats would have aligned themselves with the Progressives, yet they have. The Tea Party was a natural reaction to the lurch to the left that not only occurred in the Dem Party, but the Republican Party as well. It amuses me that the left likes Republicans who align themselves with the left. It's to be expected.
