If he cared he would be in the hood talking to gang bangers to get them to change their ways...other than that he has a target on his head and while Achilles may not be able to reach him to spit in his face, there are 300 lbs mo fucks ready to clip his knees come sunday. Now Beyoncé she can say whatever she wants...dale

I said repeatedly that if his reasons are accepted at face then his income has no bearing on the discussion. It was an "if-then" thing. That was my principal point. You're reading more into it than his detractors are. Me, I'm just following their own frayed string of logic.

Exactly. Especially given the freedom to all the hate groups who abuse their various freedoms -- all in the name of flag and apple pie, of course. It's interesting how all the "patriots" on this board will fight tooth and nail for the right of hate groups to exercise their First Amendment rights but then have a collective conniption when someone they don't like does so.

Right or wrong, many many kids emulate professional athletes. They should be held to a higher standard, if for no other reason than they get paid so well. The NFL has rules on everything else... if he wants to remain seated in the stands at a Cubs baseball game during the National Anthem, thats his choice..... but when he dons that uniform, he not only represents his team, but the NFL as well.... he can just get the fuck over it and stand. NFL games are not bully-pulpits for someones cause.

What would you do if you went to the airport and saw an airline pilot in uniform, on duty, carrying a black lives matter sign as he walked to his next flight/gate? What would you think? Somehow I don't think the Airline Pilots Association would allow that from a member. He would be grounded. Or a cop on duty. Or a teacher at school. ....The NFL Players Union should do the same damn thing.

He was exercising a right, and as I wrote in my first post to this thread, he did so at personal risk. Unlike the hatemongers on Fox and Breitbart who, as long as they're wearing their flag pins, can say whatever the fuck they want with impunity.

When someone is at work,.... they lose some of their rights.

A high school football coach was fired for allowing his team to pray after a game in Seattle. Is that not a right? And there are dozens of similar stories that apply to teachers across the country. You can't debate me on this FF.... we live in a society that has norms that are enforced in the workplace without exception. Face it... the guy's a little pussy-assed bitch. Besides, he'll be cut anyway.
