Coinbase IPO

Any price prediction? Everybody are saying its insane price. But looking RBLX,ABNB etc prices i trully cant say why 100B is expensive?Even Robinhood is trading 100B price.
COIN will be 150B after IPO? Any thoughts?
Lots of people want to invest real crypto things, not coins. And COIN is first real newcomer

Coinbase is never going to be able to sustain the trading fees they are charging. It feels like the day trading brokerages of the late 90's all over again charging day traders $15+ every time they hit the buy or sell button. Fast forward to those same brokerages of today slashing their commissions to zero and you can see where these crypto commissions are eventually heading. I'm just amazed they can have that kind of valuation based upon a business model that requires exorbitant commissions to sustain itself and plenty of competition to ensure those fees are definitely going down over time.

I heard it's nearer $90billion but whatever the case anything above $40b looks very rich to me.

No way other financial firms are going to let them get away with all the cream they're making.

Goldman's right now is valued at $111billion (under $80b a few months ago) so which one would you prefer to own?

LOL, the world is insane. Goldman IMO is probably the best run company in existence. This is INSANE...

Crypto will expand into equities quicker than equities will expand to crypto.

Yep, all of the Exchanges are coming for equities. FTX already offering them against USDT (maybe even BTC). Other Exchanges are also offering some of the big stocks against BTC (p&l paid in BTC).

It will be like the spread betters in the UK offering shares, you won't be buying/selling the actual shares rather their price on the back of the underlying.

It's concepts like this where the FTT is so dangerous to implement because what happens if we all start to trade GOOG, IBM, GE etc on offshore exchanges using Bitcoin (and pay our income tax on any profits, just not the FTT)? Few if any traders care about owning the actual shares, we just want the profit via buying a number that hopefully will go higher.

COIN now trading at near $500 on the FTX grey market.

$125b market cap!

It's crazy how innovative and fast FTX and the other crypto exchanges are, and that must be frightening for the incumbents on Wall street.

I can only imagine an FTX meeting. Someone says 'hey we should introduce XYZ, there might be some mileage in it'. Then a few hours later it's all ready to be listed and traded.

Binance offers more trading, withdrawal and deposit options than ErisX.

Binance offers more trading, withdrawal and deposit options than ErisX. Can you fund Cardano or DOT on ErisX?
