... While we managed to average a bit better than +2.5pts per session during the experiment, ER has no advantage over ES or NQ and disadvantage per liquidity. We'll retire this demo while ahead, and return to work a small account large(r) trading ES instead."</i>

In case one wonders what a successful series of real-time trading actually looks like... something no chatroom troll has ever yet posted anything similar in ET.
But, there's always July![]()

But I believe in his daytrading account he has said that he trades from "5 lots to 20 lots". No idea myself, maybe one of his students can tell you.
The ER2 experiment sounds like fun. Despite the fact that it didn't turn out as anticipated and he closed the "experiment" down, it still made things just a little bit interesting around here ... and that's always good.![]()

I don't think he trades much at all anymore. He charges 500 a month for access to a chatroom and educational videos. 6K a year. Assuming he has twenty five clients, that's 150K a year, risk free.
I have no problem with vendors as long as they sell a quality product, and he may well be selling a quality product (the price may be high, but that is up to the buyer). We're both intraday swing traders, looking to buy directional moves towards key spots on the charts--open gaps, pivot levels, etc.
What makes me a little suspicious about the guy is that he keeps flip flopping.
He complains that ET is a "bitchfest" and a place for "losers", and then he complains and attacks others, and keeps coming back (he may have other aliases--who knows, JJ?)
First he is giving up the ER2 because it was too choppy, and then he goes back, and then quits because it is too spiky, and then he's back again.
It's only a matter of time before he says that the ES backs and fills too much, so he is going to the NQ, or the ER2, or the Forex.
On May 5 he launches an experiment here at ET, trading 1 ER with the hopes of getting to 20-40 contracts. Experiment ends after two weeks, not even close to 20 contracts.
On one video he says that the NQ is directional, and is going to be trading that for a while, and then in days he's back with the Russell.
On video after video he says how difficult/impossible it is to scalp, and then in a later video he shares a method of scalping the ES.
He said on one of his videos last year that he was going to have to shut down because his new clients would be suspicious about him selling his methodology. He's still selling it.
I thought he was going to start up his CTA in January, but who knows?
On one of his videos he announced that he was going to enter the Robbins emini contest. Never heard about that again.

.
It got pretty intense between him and PBT, and the dis-information about the guy is legendary in these parts (I know I wouldn't like someone telling lies about me that were half-truths) ... like saying "I worked at a night job at a convience store (which someone did say)" whereas actually the truth was "I worked during the evening and weekends at UBS" ... see, a horse of a very different color, that one.Quote from smilingsynic:
Where? Most things said about him were nice. I said he was a nice enough guy, for a vendor.
