Cognitive training: Train your brain to excel at trading

I been approached by more ex pit traders cause one area of specializing does not transfer to being at home trading in your PJ's. One has to go from easier money of trading with a broker who does retail, so always getting that tick but even if you didn't have that, you can see who is buying or selling, now you can see the cat staring at you. I am guessing transition was much harder than they realized and many quit altogether?

Many failed to make the transition from pit to screen, there is a documentary on this somewhere on YouTube...
I'm the complete opposite -- I excel behind the screen, being somewhat of a hermit in the process.
I couldn't imagine standing... trading.., in the pit shouting all day and bumping into people like neanderthals

Back then I started with the process of reprogramming my brain. It was very difficult because I had to do most of the time more or less the opposite of what other people did, or at least something completely different from what the mass did. As I was talking to a few people it was very difficult to do what I had to do and not to fall back in my previous behavior. It took me a very long time before it worked in a split of a second. I made it my natural behavior. No regrets I did it. I even paid a psychiatrist to help me. He was skeptical at the start as it was something he never heard about before.
If I would tell what crazy things I tried out to become a profitable trader... But I am stubborn and refused to give up.
