Have you seen coffee curve shape around Jul - Sep 16 ? It's weird... Is there a change in the contract? It is not stuck quotes.

Comparing the curve with historic data (-1 month) shows the same pattern...

1) The deferreds are irrelevant ...... unless you're Folgers, Hills Brothers or Starbucks.
2) It could be traders on the settlement committee "playing games" with the settlement prices from yesterday.

I find it odd we have a slowly descending curve in 2016( usual ) and then we have september much higher...AFAIK coffee is more like slowly ascending and then flat or slightly descending, but never ascending- descending- and reascending...(Sorry I don't know the lingo)

I don't know if coffee has "old crop" and "new crop" months as grains do. It might have something to do with "that".
