We examined the data for A&E attendance in the months of April (Lockdown 1) and November (Lockdown 2) for 2020 and compared this with April and November in 2018 and 2019 which showed A&E attendance during the first lockdown was 57% down on the previous year, and A&E attendance during lockdown 2 was 31% down on the previous year.
2018 – April – 1,984,369 attended A&E / November – 2,036,847 attended A&E
2019 – April – 2,112,165 attended A&E / November – 2,143,505 attended A&E
2020 – April – 916,581 attended A&E / November – 1,485,132 attended A&E

So people stopped going to the hospital emergency room for other things when the pandemic was in full force and the authorities were urging you go to the hospital only in a true emergency. Coupled with car accidents, work accidents, and other emergency injuries were way down when people were in lockdown. Basic common sense should allow any rational person to arrive at a realistic understanding of the cause/effect in this situation -- rather than spouting the pandemic was fake.
He's not the sharpest tool in the shed especially when they say now that the Pandemic was FAKE or a HOAX whereas they said it was real & China's fault when President Trump was in the oval office...
Simply, it's much more than a lack of basic common sense.
I myself had a serious knee injury during the Pandemic. I waited many months before going to the hospital to see a Doctor (get xrays) of the knee only because my hospital primarily was dealing with Covid patients. Just the same, my hospital had fewer patients (overall) that were a result of things like car accidents, other diseases, and sports injuries (e.g. I injured my knee playing hockey with my teenagers at a local outdoor hockey rink).
Also, the Hospital was short on medical personnel because some of them had died from Covid and many more quit because of burnout from treating so many patients in the Pandemic.
- Patient data info from my brother that's a Doctor in South Dakota, sister a head nurse in Illinois, youngest sibling that's an EMT in Kentucky, a girlfriend that's a nurse in Québec City and two friends that work in hospital administration in France...all of them had at least two co-workers (friends) that died from Covid.
As for my knee, I was still hesitant to visit the hospital because the emergency room was filled with coughing patients that were infected with Covid or some respiratory disease here in Québec City, Canada.
Thus, the workaround was to make an appointment to visit one of my Doctor's private clinics but there was a 2-month waiting list. Eventually, I was x-rayed and two weeks later had minor surgery on the knee.
