We dismiss arguments when the only sites pushing it are fringe conspiracy nutcase sites or unbalanced social media posters --- coupled when there is no reliable mainstream sources providing facts supporting the assertions. Quality of the source matters. Claims from crap sources without reliable support should be dismissed out of hand.
For example -- the claims that a pizza parlor in D.C. is associated with Hillary Clinton and is the center of pedophile ring is pure QAnon nutcase fringe stuff. This is the type of crap pushed on InfoWars.
