I'd like to be able to take a program that is coded for futures in ninja trader and have the signals convert and execute through the sterling api with the etf equivalent, ie. ES to SPY. Does anyone know of a patch or conversion ideally out of the box and not having to be created fresh? Thanks.

So you bought or lease an ES system, and instead of asking developer to make for SPY, you want to jury rig it to work on other markets. Why not take it to a programmer and change the instruments within the code? Am guessing it is locked? I doubt you will find what you want as SPY might not make same patterns, stops, etc....
To add to Handle123's comment, there are very few programs that would work well between SPY and futures. The matching engines & data flow are completely different.
