W Wayne Gibbous Oct 14, 2011 #3 I still have my 1st edition K & R "C" book...somewhere. RIP D. R. Found it! It's all of a little more than 200 pages. Those were the dayz. Nowadays it seems like every programming book is 1,000+ pages.
