CNN’s Don Lemon on ‘Political Correctness': Liberals the ‘Least Tolerant’

its just a question of semantics...

I was speaking of the idea of selling out a man's fishing hole through a secret trade deal to china in exchange for payments to wall street, the clintons, the parties and some outsourcing contracts to IBM, then taxing the man's fishing equipment to death, setting up a Fishmart in community and then giving the man a free .5 fish card vs... a man catching plenty of fish in his fishing hole tax free.

you'll never find anybody who disagrees with you more

almost everybody cares about what's better for the group

am I the only one who cares what's best for the individual?

the group has political parties and donors and non profit groups and who knows what all on their side

the individual is the last and most important component to society. His rights must be respected above all others.

no, when given a choice between what is best for the group and what is best for the individual I will always side with the individual, even if he is probably wrong

we will have many new groups and could stand to lose a few old ones, but once you lose the individual all things I love are lost

mine only went up a little bit because he already got a boost from some of his past statements.

Yeah I got to admit, Lemon seems to be a pretty fair guy down at CNN, especially when you consider hes coming at it from the angle of a black, and gay journalist working for a liberal network.

Admittedly I was wrong in my perception of him, as i thought that the black gay angle was the lens through which he viewed all of lifes events, mostly cause he worked for CNN, and thats the way all the white liberals there view life.

Both him and Anderson Cooper seem to atleast respect the position of "journalist" and the guys who came before them. Though I still think Jake Tapper is by far the best at CNN.

With that said, even though i know both Lemon and Cooper are liberals, they both try to do a much more objective version of journalism than anything you will see down at ABC or NBC. I guess thats why they are the go to guys in primetime.

Ive seen Lemon be harder on militant gays, and harder on black looters than anything you would ever see at the broadcast news networks. Ive seen segments where Lemon has questioned the censorship of the "n" word.

Lemon has gained my respect as a journalist, and there are only three other guys who have it besides him, Lemon, Cooper, Chris Wallace, and Jake Tapper, are probably the 4 best guys in journalism if you want an unbiased source.

Wallace and Tapper are still the best in the bizz in my opinion though, I still cant tell if either of those 2 are liberals or conservatives, they both just seem to enjoy hard hitting journalism, regardless of who they take down, Mike Wallace was a die hard liberal, but you would never see that in Chris.

I also like all the people down at 60 minutes but thats kind of a different way of presenting news, whereby they present a "story" every week. I liked Scott Pelley alot more when he was at 60 minutes as opposed to CBS news, but Sharryl Atkisson has revealed that alot of that had to do with the die hard liberals who infected the top CBS brass.
