CNN really deserves their name

The Clinton News Network is now trying to make a national scandal over the fact that Melania Trumps speech writer may have lifted a couple sentences from a michelle obama speech, its wall to wall coverage, what a joke this network has become.

No other network on T.V. made more than a side mention of it yet CNN continues to flog the dead horse for three hours straight so far this morning.

CNN is also famous for having stood by Fareed Zakaria who has been busted continually plagiarising for his own documentaries, and now they all of a sudden are taking the high road......... geeeeeeee i wonder if they are in the tank for Hillary.

How much time did they dedicate to obama's ripping off of deval patricks speech? This is insane for a supposed news network to dedicate this much time to nothing, even MSNBC isnt giving it this much time. I guess now its obvious to even the dullest individuals to realise who CNN is siding with.
 
While this may be true, it was an unnecessary error by the Trump the campaign. They need to tighten up their game.

I dont think anyone believes Trump doesnt need to do better at this kind of shit but its just funny how the same media who relentlessly attacks him for being too off the cuff, and not scripted enough, would now attack him for lifting quotes from another speech, how many presidential speeches could anyone say are actually genuinely original, they are all ripping each other off, im not trying to justify it, its just a fact.

Good article that highlights how biased the network coverage is. Covering the republican convention, particularly this Trump convention, really brings out the far left bias of the networks. I think one reason for it is a lot of the coverage consists of panels of leftist journalists who have to react in real time rather than have an editor clean up their work. Plus, they're worn out from partying and maybe still drunk or high, so they tend to shoot their mouths a bit more.

They hate everything about the republican convention. They're openly contemptuous of the delegates, who tend to be small town businesspeople, etc, not the race hustlers, union bosses and school teachers/gay activists that populate democrat conventions.
 
Yeah, thats a good observation, they seem to atleast try to play bipartisan most of the time,(though people with a keen eye see it for what it is) but during republican convention all gloves are off, you may be on too something there, perhaps their delicate egos are just far to fragile to cover something like this objectively, the second they are in the area of someone who disagrees with them they just seem to snap,and expose themselves as total frauds.

Melania Trump delivered a great speech, no way the Dems are going to let that pass without trying to degrade it. I'm waiting for the line " the only reason it was so good was that it was stolen from Michelle". I can't imagine that the Trump team wasn't expecting an attack.

It truly is a non-issue. And agreed on the CNN attack, it was blantant and obvious to anyone watching.

I disagree. The speech is clearly plagiarized in parts. My fear is Trump's campaign is going to to continue making these amateur mistakes that are going to cost him election. Of course the MSM is clearly against Trump which means he needs to run a very tight campaign if he wants a chance at winning.

I agree that CNN and all the other popular "news" media that depend on advertising revenue take inconsequential events, blow them up, and harp on them, over and over when there is so much of greater consequence they should be giving coverage too. This incident was worth a brief mention but that's all certainly. Melania should have given Michelle's speech writer credit. Or she could have said something like I agree with Michelle Obama when she said: "yada yada yada... That would have been cool and classy.
