There's nothing to argue. Interest rates, borrowing, and consumer prices go hand-in-hand. It would be akin to me 'arguing' the case for gravity. It just is.So the premises stand and you have no counter argument.

The Federal Reserve system is owned by the Federal Reserve Banks.. Which have private stockholders.
Greenspan worked for the bankers not us. The interest rate dance and Fed meetings are just a scripted stage show. That you fall for the ayn rand act ... really you are too smart to fall for that shit. Greenspan was just a paid puppet of a private system. Seriously, you need to understand what it means that the Federal Reserve system is owned by private shareholders. You do accept that fact don't you? Then the next question is who owns the shares of the banks that own the shares of the Federal Reserve.
By the way, the first part of your analysis is correct. ( you wrote it more elegantly than I had in the past here on elitetrader.)
wowJust a brief note of caution to any of the naive who might read this crap. Jem never took the time to learn and understand the structure of the United States Federal Reserve system. He still believes in the "creature from Jeykyll Island".
Here is more highly entertaining reading.

Yes, I've heard it is quite entertaining.that attack is fallacious and totally out of character for you.
It must really bother you that the red herring on the Fed's own website fooled you for the last few years... and now it sunk it... the the Federal Reserve banks are owned by private shareholders and therefore you have been dead ass wrong on this subject.
By the way I have read and analysed the Federal Reserve act. Look at the structure. Other than voting to pull the charter, there is not control over the what the fed does because the board has to vote unamimously. (yet the banks appoint half the members.)
by the way I have the first book on your list... but I have not read much of it. It looks good. I think I shall read it.
wow
Eight liberal political groups are resuming pressure on Hillary Clinton over her Wall Street policies on Wednesday, releasing a letter that asks whether she supports legislation to ban financial companies from giving workers large bonuses before they join the government. The letter specifically points to two of Clinton’s State Department aides who came over from the banking world.
“On behalf of our nine million supporters across the country, we are writing to request more information about your positions regarding the revolving door between Wall Street and the federal government,” reads a statement backed by Democracy For America, Rootstrikers, CREDO Action, MoveOn.Org Political Action, the Center for Popular Democracy Action, The Other 98%, Friends of the Earth Action, and American Family Voices.
