First charges filed in Mueller investigation

A federal grand jury in Washington, DC, on Friday approved the first charges in the investigation led by special counsel Robert Mueller, according to sources briefed on the matter.

The charges are still sealed under orders from a federal judge. Plans were prepared Friday for anyone charged to be taken into custody as soon as Monday, the sources said. It is unclear what the charges are.

A spokesman for the special counsel's office declined to comment.

Mueller was appointed in May to lead the investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

Under the regulations governing special counsel investigations, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who has oversight over the Russia investigation, would have been made aware of any charges before they were taken before the grand jury for approval, according to people familiar with the matter.

Beautiful. Let the games begin. I hope it is Mannaforte and Flynn because their attorneys will argue that the warrant to tap them was set in motion by the dossier which the fbi colluded with the dems to produce and/or acquire. The right to discovery and cross-examination of matters related to that will be highly productive. And Mueller may have presented these cases to the grand jury before recent disclosures came out. Even as recently as a week ago, I took for granted that Flynn and Mannaforte would be sacrificial lambs and the would have to plead to some quick and dirty settlement. I am not sure of that anymore. They have credible defenses and the number things that may need to be suppressed because of the way the fisa warrant was obtained is probably substantial.

Go for it motherfucks. Full speed ahead. Everything leads to the dem's door now.

Same thing with anything they might think they have on Eric Trump. They go after him, and it then becomes inconceivable that you would not go after the dnc/Clinton clowns talking to british/Russian agents about oppo stuff. Beautiful.

Plus when republicans see the dipshit stuff that Mueller will go after- and then see all the Clinton stuff that has never been touched- it will pour gasoline on the fire in regard to appointing a Special Witch-hunter for the dems. As Margaret Thatcher said to H.W. right before the Gulf War- "this is no time to get wobbly."
This is the absolute best time to go out on the offense and bring some scalps back. Mueller wants to start spouting like a whale now? Good, get the harpoons ready. Take him down too. He is dirty and vulnerable on the uranium thing .

On the basis of absolutely nothing, I have a hunch that it will turn out that the "dossier" will be the basis of absolutely nothing. :D The Mueller investigation is going to depend heavily on the findings of the U.s. intelligence community, the findings of the various U.s Attorneys, and tax filings. I don't think that dossier will matter one iota.

its all good as long as the dems have to play by the same rules
american voters will not tolerate lopsided prosecutions.

If dems every want to win seats they better ensure that hillary and some of her team go to jail.

this will be the new issue.

if I am elected I will make sure we go after all those who colluded with russians not just the trump administration.
 
They put this out on friday hoping desperately to change the subject on the sunday talk shows from the disasterous week they had.
