Has anyone listened to how happy Bob Pisani is today since the market is up? Mysteriously, he wasn't even on yesterday as we were down, I'm convinced he calls in sick on those days and throws someone else into the fire. Occasionally he'll get whipsawed and will actually have to report on a "down day" and he'll say things like "This is on light volume", "It's just sell programs," or "Since this is options expiration, the selling is really exaggerated." Funny, I've never heard him mention any of these reasons when "reporting" on an up day. Sickening, monotonously so...Comcast, please add Bloomberg TV permanently.

Pisani is often called "The Italian Stallion" by Mark Haines.
It's not mentioned in his Bio, but we're not sure we really want to know where that label comes from...

He was nominated twice for a CableACE Award, in 1993 and 1995.
Prior to joining CNBC, Pisani co-authored Investing in Land: How to be a Successful Developer. He and his father taught a course in Real Estate Development at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennyslvania from 1987-1992. Pisani learned the real estate business from his father, Ralph Pisani, a retired real estate developer.

Thank you for posting that You Tube clip...CLASSIC! It's basically what this guy does day in and day out...it's horrendous. We're allowed to have a down day without 47 excuses to tell us why we "really weren't down in fact." I've noticed that recently if it's clear in the premarket that we're going to have a down day, he simply calls in sick and sends Scott Wapner in to do the dirty work for the day. But it's definitely not below Bob to show up later in the day and report on the comeback rally if we get one. His whole string of antics, from talking to obsolete specialists on the floor and $2 brokers about economic numbers that they couldn't possibly understand..as they are looking for the next order to come in from E-Trade so they can trade ahead of it and penny it..is just getting tired. I can't believe more people haven't complained about the ridiculous one-sidedness of it all.
