CNBC Question

Quote from ess1096:

I have a Sirius subscription and I do get CNBC on the radio but there is no CNBC when I stream Sirius over the net.

You're right, sorry. I didn't think there was that much of a difference. The stream is vastly different and does not include CNBC.

I think the better question is why would anyone want to listen to CNBC.

To actually benefit from the nuggets that pop up occasionally from their otherwise reeking landfill of programming. How could anyone complain about the story they broke on GPS on Monday. That was pure gold on an otherwise humdrum day.

I like CNBC too.

Once in awhile it provides helpful "investor" related info that usually prompts me to do further research on my own (ex. real estate, interest rates, European economy et cetera).

I also like to listen to Bloomberg radio.

Yet, I use neither for day trading info.

However, it seems like most of the complaints here at ET involves guys trying to use CNBC for day trading or trading related info.

To those types...just watch your charts...much more informative.

We've been over this before. It's because Liz has big gazonga's.
