When I signed up it said; your portfolio will be created when the contest starts, something along that line.

I'm almost sure one will enter orders online through a web form, like a blank field for Stock Symbol and one for Quantity and a Submit button.

There is a problem, how do I sell one stock with all in and buy one with all in on the same day? It seems impossible. It will tell me I don't have enough cash when I buy the second stock, when all the stock I have is in the first one.

no it executes the trades in the same order you've entered them, so if you enter the sell order first then the buy order, at the end of day it will first sell the shares you had bought earlier and wanted to sell and then will buy the other stock shares you where trying to buy. I think it even states this somewhere in the contest Rules

Participants will have the ability to prioritize trades within a given day of trading; provided that, all sales will be processed before all purchases. If a Participant does not elect to grant a ranking of priority, trades will default to prioritization based upon the time the trade is entered with earlier trades taking priority over any subsequently entered trades.
