Fact even admitted by JC: Cramer has a live effect on stock prices. Look at the chart for ROYL. However, a secondary slide already started around 5:30PM (and got steeper after Cramer opined in the negative.)

So how come MRO, DVN, APC, OXY, and APA all were 50 cents higher in the aftermarket an hour before Cramer pumped them this evening?

People are getting his picks in advance whether it be by legal means or not.

Well, this time you're absolutely right. Cramer's radio show comes on at 2PM or you can catch the replay at 4 PM. Guess what were in the first batch of stocks he mentioned today? That's right, Mr. Conspiracy, APC APA DVN MRO OXY, among other oil companies Cramer mentioned that might be considered by China National Oil to takeover if they don't get Conoco.
