damn, C is down 45c already late afterhours after segment
its amazing how 15 mil shares took it from .50 to .85 the last 1/2 hr, and 10k or so can take it right back and lower

I believe if you want to purchase shares in the pre or post market, you have to buy the Ask, period.

That's not it either... I've placed bids and offers pre/post market that are not filled instantly with EchoPro. It just seems that their system does not operate at all after a certain time...possibly 5:00 PM NY.

Not sure who you use, but you might want to look into another broker. I have never heard of only being able to trade off the bid and ask in the AH.

Let me rephrase that, you can only trade with a limit order which if the issue has a lot of buying pressure it's not going to be readily filled if its below the Ask anyway, but it is a Limit order that is required.
