CNBC - Cramer's Mad Money

Quote from max401:

Cramer strongly touted the techs right into the bubble and most Cramer hating is due to that, but they forget that ol' JC correctly called it pre-burst when you still had time to unload (that is unless you were too busy telling all your pals what a stock wizard you were with your JDSU, LU, etc.)

Oh yeah it must be this comment by JC

"Nasty Friday selloff. Nasty. And to me it means an opportunity to put money to work. I am using typical bull-market rules. You get these profit-taking pullbacks and they inspire tons of worry. They make people nervous as heck. They shake out the weak holders."

- James J. Cramer - Feb. 2, 2001

Or maybe

JC is a pump & dump artist, a total shill. Day trade his calls or fade them but enough of kissing his a$$ as if he is some kind of trading god.
Better yet, just do your own research.

much better show tonight. he isn't shrieking like a mad druggie tonight.

good show. Of course I missed the first few.Should put it in the Power Lunch Slot and send those losers out to pasture.

Quote from bozwood:

Officer of the company (CMGI) just sold 200,000 into the mad-money induced run-up. Nice and convenient.
Where is this documented?

I fail to see where JC is indicted on not calling the tech bust in your quotes. Further, no one said or implied he is a "trading god." Hell, my barber is a shill, but his record of winners stinks.

Cramer is a smart guy. He's obviously enjoying his life...and he's working in a biz we all love...the financial markets.

Past that, unless your a real gambler why would you buy his calls? If you think you can make money on that....good luck.

I believe if you are a serious trader then cramer is entertainment. If your that one uncle in the family that 'knows about stocks' then maybe your really gettin the hot tips before the rest of us.

Dude are you serious? Or just plain stupid?

You don't really fall for JC's revisits to the same stocks with an opposite view? Do you even understand that he will tout a stock and then come back 1 months later and state that he has always hated it. He did it to NEM, he is bullish at its top, then bearish at its bottom.

Like he does this

http://www.thestreet.com/comment/wrongrear/1271233.html

and then

"It is bad to be in a bear's den in a bull market, but I keep thinking of all the mail I get from people who are thrilled that we--this site--have been pretty unrelentingly negative about tech during this sell-off. We are proud of that. I can't stress how riddled the whole client base in this country is with cellphone stocks. They are cancers on your portfolio, though, and I don't think a cancer gets better with time."

- James J. Cramer - Feb. 27, 2001

I don't even understand why I am posting all this, anyone who actually believes in Cramer, well is just plain stupid. Just search about him on the web, you will find so much info that exposes him. He had a lawsuit filed against him by the readers of his newsletter because they followed his calls on tech and watched their money evaporate.

Like I said, he is THE "legit" pump & dump artist, day trade him or fade him but better yet, do your own research.
