CNBC keeps cutting to commercial or another brief segment for almost every republican questioning Sebelius, then they go back to the hearing for the Democrats questioning (praising of the ACA).

Doesn't matter.

They can't spin this any other way than what it is.......a disaster. People are learning first hand just how bad this law is.

This isn't some esoteric debate about "big government" or "low taxes". Its hitting people in the pocketbook and its hitting them in a very up close and personal way in how they get health care, who they can see, what choices they have etc...Its bad government in real time.

I agree.

The baffling thing is that every democrat is still defending it and singing its praises. Not a single negative comment. Surely they have been inundated with emails from angry constituents?

I hope they all get voted out on their ass.
 
You should have heard NPR this morning. Normally I don't listen to that crap but I was on a car trip and had little option. It was a total all hands on deck effort to minimize the problems and demonize the critics. Really biased, far more so than their normal granola lefty approach.
 
As expected. Dems circling the wagons and making excuses while asking softball questions, and repubs asking a few relevant questions that don't get answered.
Only a couple of questions need to be asked.
1. If you knew people would be kicked off their existing plans, for whatever reason, why did the president say with absolute certainty that they wouldn't? And if he lied about this, what else did he lie about?
2. Explain to me how a hundred bucks a month in premiums, a 5200 dollar deductible, and 39 dollar co-pays is "affordable" to someone making 30K a year?
3. Who was the genius that decided to provide quotes based on everyone under 50 being 27 years of age and in good health?

If you read the entire content of Obama's speech, which includes that sentence, you'll see that certain provisions have to be met. I'm not addressing gwb's situation specifically.
