CMT vs CFT

Hi all,
I have been using TA for personal trading over the past couple of years, but only as an amateur. Now, I am considering moving a bity into the professional world by earning a TA degree. After browsing, I found out two competing designations which I think (and pls correct me if I am wrong), are the most prestigious and demanded certificates, namely; CMT and CFT. However, the former srtictly requires years of work experience and sponsorship from previous members, making it difficult for a person like myself to fulfil such requirements. Ques is, is the CFT designation a much lower regarded certificate in the professional world, since it has no work/sponsorship requirements? or is the CFT equivalent to the CMT?

My first suggestion would be not to "earn a TA agree." TA is mostly useless, and a degree in it is bizarre.
Learn how to trade.

Besides, positions as professional traders are likely to dry up as algorithmic trading ramps up the next few years.
