Even without fed intervention I don't think most shorts realize how painful the coming days will be.

Unless you have profit locked in good luck shorting at these levels.

An official bear market would look very bad for the McCain campaign. It won't be allowed to happen which is why I'm bullish.

stock has gotten out of far worse situations. Even if S&P is at 1230 5 mins to close, I would not write him out. If it was 1229, ha!
