I've been toying around with the idea of getting a SBR (Short barrel rifle) in a pistol caliber for quite a while now. I was just about to order one from my local FFL and Cmmg sent me this discount code so I pulled the trigger. (pun intended)

This is the one I ordered. Cmmg Banshee with 5" barrel in .45acp.

It takes 26 round Glock magazines and there is also a 40 round drum mag available. I plan on putting a silencer on it. I think it will be a fun plinker gun. With tax it was 1463.00 shipped to my FFL.

Are you a gun collector, you live in a high-crime community, just enjoy hanging out at the local shooting range, or you just enjoy shooting at plinking targets in your backyard...reason for the silencer because you live in a dense community (with nearby neighbors) ???

I enjoy plinking and target shooting. I have 15 acres of land but out of courtesy, it would be nice to shoot suppressed on my property. I have a cheap gun range nearby to shoot my non-suppressed weapons. Always wanted to see what suppressors were all about.
