Yea, get ready for huge rate hikes until some other exchange creates contracts that can compete with Treasurys, Eurodollars, and the indices. How is this not a blatant breach of anti-trust?
CME/CBOT now has a complete monopoly on US Interest rate futures (2 yr, 5yr, 10yr, 30 yr, Eurodollars), US stock index futures (YM, ES, NQ, ER), Agricultural futures.
Am I missing something here?

They certainly overpaid, but it's more of a classic "sell the news" setup.
