CME "Trade Against a Pro" Trading Challenge - December 8th Sunday - 13th Friday

OK, anybody can explain how is this possible? I bought ES and NQ puts yesterday and cashed out this morning with 4-4K gains. Yet my account balance is down 20K? Some trades from yesterday are also now shown. And the positions are shown as both Open and Closed at the same time.

Another screen shows that I control 15 NQ and the limit is as we know 10 contracts.

Here are my results for today ( from 6:35 to 7:40ish). Up 325 in the account to follow the competition. Up 1287.50 in another account this morning for practice (sim too). The comp one I took quite a few losses at the beginning of my morning session (around 6:40) and I revenge traded out of the hole in a pissed off mood, I was really sweating posting a loss for today on ET (something I didn't expect until it was happening). May seem silly but it is what it is. No fun and no use, so I'm done posting my trading results for now. This is my second biggest day paper trading so far in the three months that I've been studying (biggest was up 1900), these results are not really typical at this point in development (not that they're impressive but just wanna give that disclaimer to be honest, I usually average 200 a day probably).

Obviously you bought Dec and Mar contracts to circumvent the 10-lot limit per delivery... and now you're whining.

You can't. It only allows you to trade the Dec contracts. And if it allows you then you can trade it anyway. But it shows only Dec in the already closed trades.

Also, the Act Balance minus net P/L should be 100K. In my case it is 71K.

So yeah, the Ghost took 29K away.

Bullshit. Mar bought. So you bought Dec and Mar and obv they are unrealized. Dude, just give it a rest.

You and vanzandt (#57) have a chance to land on the leader board if you two continue doing well.

Keep in mind that the biggest movement among the participants has occurred on the last two trading days of the challenge.

Edit: vanzandt has now moved up to #36 (he's posting in destriero's thread).

P.S. CME Group should have created team challenges...similar to what's done in the gaming industry.

Keep in mind that the biggest movement among the participants has occurred on the last two trading days of the challenge.

P.S. CME Group should have created team challenges...similar to what's done in the gaming industry.
