I'm unsure whether the platform is going to suddenly come to life, or if I need to keep re-booting it.
A gap in either direction after restart might cause a bit of panic?

It is not the software, so I expect you will not have to restart, but you should contact your platform. A market halt is generally followed up with a re-opening process.

I just spoke to the CME. They have no ETA on when they will be back up. They did tell me all Day orders will be canceled but GTD and GTC orders will remain. They will have an opening similar to what you have at 5pm CT when they are ready.

So basically, the CME hit a telephone pole in high winds. Chicago is very prone to those wind gusts...Like a Fed-Ex truck cruising down the road in a "wind storm"
