CME IPO of the day !

looked at it ... saw it had rallied over $ 1 from the opening print

and decided to look at my other stocks ...

sheesh ... it then rallied $3 more ....closing near its first day
highs ...

I guess I will have to keep my eye on it in the future

will be interesting to see if this was a one day wonder

or if the will be any demand for it in the weeks leading
up to the end of the year ...

If floor traders buy their own stock and keep the stock on a thin float....Is that considered stock manipulation. This is one stock I will let the big boys trade. Good luck.
 
That was my thinking. I heard from sources that quite a few cme guys were pissed at their allocations and were going to buy in the open market. It was only 4.7m shares. I really loaded up my account in a major way at 39. I started scaling out on the way up. Too bad I sold my last 2500 at 42. I loosed most at the mid 41's. That bugger just won't quit.
 
Your sources don't have the vaguest idea what they are talking about. CME members already own the stock, memberships now consist of trading rights and stock. Interesting to see how hard it will suddenly be to borrow if short interest builds. Don't put it pass them to squeeze any shorts if the numbers don't please them.
