ICE is no rinky dink outfit. Besides buying the NYBOT they also made what some would say was the more competative bid for the CBOT as well.

I found the below in a old wire story about the Russell licensing agreement:


"ICE has made a pricey bet on the benchmark. The exchange paid $50 million upfront for the exclusive license and estimates that total licensing fees will add up to $90 million over seven years. "

i've also heard that the ice is pretty fast now. since they have moved to chicago they are going to compete.

it is good to have the competition. give cme the world and the fees get even worse.

500 a handle is not for the faint hearted.........but ranges are small, used to trade this on the phone.............small accounts with solid discipline can do fine. ES rules though........more players the better the setups..........you want friends to push your breakouts.
