I want to make a Canadian Dollar futures transaction on the CME globex platform. Can someone tell me if the globex platform trades currency side by side with the floor during regular trading hours. Another way of putting it is will the Canadian dollar future trade contentiously 23 hours a day on globex. I have gotten conflicting info from different sources.

Yup, Globex will trade 23 hrs.
Just need to take in consideration that after RTH, volume on the CAD will be minimal and prints on the chart will not be equal to the FX market. You'll see gaps in CAD that won't exist in FX.
