My equation goes:

the greater the # of posts = the less likely that the person is a quality trader.
Really? The top two posters are Nitro and DB.

Geez, aphster, LII seems to give me a pretty idea for the next 30 seconds, which is all you really need.

You might have it for daytrading. I don't think it is "impossible" but I also don't think that if one can't daytrade, that he should give up "trading."

That's a great question!! I have no idea -- but who am I to argue with ebay people. Buy, post, sell, ship. Remember the old adage that there is always a greater fool out there? I guess ebay reaches out to most of them!

Man I tell ya. I shoulda been rich when Value America was doing that half price deal to unique emails. Sigh. If I ever get another chance like that, I'll be an eBay king!

Ebay is really underestimated. For the amount of money you could make from some part-time research and driving to the post office, it really is quite amazing.

So again, what amount of alcohol separates an avid connoisseur of drinks from a raging drunk?
Not quantity, quality; makes the hangover much easier to deal with.

And your strategy? A secret? Ah. So all we have to go by is your word. Hmm.

Well, hell, GG, on the basis of this self-serving testimonial, I'd keep at it until I'm living in a box.

My strategy involves lotsa work; but trust me friend; been broke more times than care to admit.

Just saying " make hay whilst the sun shines" , and advice to GG is to stop trading!

My sense, is that YOU are the guy who brings the calculator to a dinner party.

Good luck dealing with "Pettyitis"...you'll need it ..takes a few sessions to rid oneself of it. Hope u have insurance..you may need it.
