Long decides not to loan out? So fyi unless your broker can find a substitute from other brokers.

Same thing happened to me a couple of months ago. Just wait and dont do anything and they will probably locate some more shares and rescind the forced buy-in notice.

That is ridiculous. Is there a specific date by which you must buy back your shares?

It was more of a "we are closing your position tomorrow if we cant find shares" than a chance to cover. I see now there are 0 shares available in the app, so I'll probably get liquidated at a lousy fill today.

I just received a notice saying this has been resolved, so I guess no liquidation for now...
