Non-believers cannot show respect, as then they would have to admit that believers could be correct.
They always set up their own paramaters of evaluation, and are always unwilling to try out a different point of view.
That is why we have seen scientists historically among the chief critics of new scientific advancement. If it doesn't fit into their paradigms, they reject it immediately.
A look back at the early scientists of Greece and Rome reveals a very restrictive mindset, while the philosophers of that age were very open to the spiritual side of life.

I fully understand the position of the "scientists" and their need for control, and their fear of faith. Just because I understand their position, doesn't mean I aspire to it. I would not take away their freedom of choice to hold onto that position if they so choose. To each their own.
How could anyone respect and aspire to closed mindedness?
As far as Don goes, I have zero problem with his job, which is marketing for Bright Trading.
What I have objected to, and still do, is the use of the Forum as a means to do it.
If he would simply state with each post in the Forum that his comments are a paid advertisement for Bright Trading, that would satisfy me.
I watch commercial television, and understand that I have to put up with the commercials to get the free TV.
Same with the Forum. It is free, someone has to pay for it, and if Don wants to help finance it, fine by me.
Just simply state that is what is going on with his comments in the Forum, and spare me the spin that he is "one of us" simply trying to help traders.
