Clintonistas Protests "Path to 9/11"

Reminds me of Hitler.....it wasn't really a problem, until it became a problem...lol

Quote from ZZZzzzzzzz:

It's never a problem, until it is one, right?

No, it is never a problem until it is a problem, a tautology. [/B]

Hitler was not a problem for the US, that's why the Bush family did business with Hitler...

Right wingers are so funny. Supposedly men of fath in God, but fearful of what is under the bed.

Boo!

Quote from ZZZzzzzzzz:

"type of hysteria that leads people to build bomb shelters in their basement"

...funny stuff. 10,000 USSR Nukes pointed at the US is an imagined and irrational threat? The Cuban Missle Crisis, sheer fantasy? The Doomsday Clock, "a tool to manipulate the sheeple"?? Try to spin that to some inhabitants of Hiroshima.

Real threat, irrational responses from the sheeple.

Same with terrorism. Geniune threat, irrational responses.

Even-so, I'm afraid you seem unable to appreciate the real threat that nukes would pose in the hands of irrational people whose sole purpose is to kill as many americans as possible without regard to the consequences to themselves.

Having been anti nukes for a long time, I am aware of the dangers. I just don't get hysterical about it.

We will all likely die from some other real and present dangers.

Want to get hysterical?

Think about every time you drive on the freeway at high speeds, and your life is in the hands of the guy changing lanes ahead of you...

That is a real and present danger, but most rational folks understand the odds and just drive normally.

It's never a problem, until it is one, right?

No, it is never a problem until it is a problem, a tautology.

The second part is about to start, so this is my last post.

:)

The hysterical people are on the left, or at least the vast, vast majority of the hysteria originates from the left now-a-days.
The "Democrat" party is the "Hysterical" party, good god, man listen to Pelosis, Reid, Gore, Dean, Maxine Water, etc ... they are all a bunch of hysterical-dingbats.

The right, doesn't get hysterical about terrorist threats.... it crushes them, well it would if allowed to by hysterical left.

"They won't like us, if we crush them! We must be liked, Hilter, Nazi's"....

:p

I must have missed the part where the US crushed Bin Laden, and the part where the US crused the Iraqi resistance...

The difference being Osama knew he was being hunted and Clinton was offered the golden ticket and didn't take it.

Both administrations f'd up but Clinton could have had him flown here without a bomb being dropped.

Quote from ZZZzzzzzzz:

Republicans were in control of congress and senate under Clinton.

Did they raise a stink about Bin Laden and the need to catch him as soon as possible under Clinton?

No. They made impeachment of Clinton job #1, a failed impeachment, an impeachment that was doomed from the start as everyone with half a brain knew the Senate wouldn't impeach, and Clinton would stay in office.

When Bush took office in 2001, and had full power and full support of congress, did he make finding Bin Laden an important job?

No. He other more important agendas, like prayer meetings in the White House.

When it was found out that Bin Laden was the man behind 9/11, Bush made lots of speeches about finding Bin Laden.

Did he find him?

No.

Five years later, do we have Bin Laden?

No.

No spin, simple facts, facts the republiklans like to avoid and deny.

Uh, as far as war doing the job, we have had two since Bush's response to 9/11, Afghanistan and Iraq...and Bin Laden is a free man.

So much for wars getting the job done...

There is plenty of blame to go to both sides.

The point is that Bin Laden was not an important target, from either side of the partisan aisle.

The republiklans had the power to put pressure on Clinton to find Bin Laden, but they didn't, because they didn't think of Bin Laden as a great threat, nor did terrorism seem like a threat to our domestic way of life.

Pre-911 there are many to blame, after 9/11...it goes to Bush and the republiklans...

Good to see you haven't lost your sense of humor....

This movie portrayed neither political party in a favorable light probably because it would have been entirely fiction at that point. I would like to see the so called Republicans and Democrats in this country come together and say that they, we citizens, are more important than private interest groups.

The finger pointing does no good because both parties were instrumental in dropping the ball. The finger pointing just disrespects those who died on 9/11. If finger pointing is all the effort this tragedy is worth, go back and sit on the couch and shut the hell up. If you think it's worth more than that . . . do something to change the situation.

Quote from AAAintheBeltway:

If the Clintonista's complaints that they never did or said things attributed to them are accurate, then I think they have a legitimate beef.

Yes, and there are legitimate venues to debate said beef. They did not debate at all, they started trying to squelch the info. Straight to censorship, censorship was move number one!! Squelching the conservatives ability to communicate has been their number one political strength, looks like they need to come up with a better way of doing things, and they don't have one.

Very well said.
