Incorrect. The electoral college selects the president. This is so Calinoisyork cannot push their will upon the rest of the country. It was designed this way long before Illinois and California existed. The framers were tremendous visionaries.

That is not true.The electoral college does elect the President but they do not represent the will of the people,their votes do.
